Sam and Jae’s wedding day at The Garrison in the Hudson Valley was an absolute highlight. The venue, nestled in the heart of the Hudson River Valley set the tone for this gorgeous and windy day. It was a little on the brisk side but that's what we love about New York. One of the reasons I love New York so much is the stunning change in seasons—each one brings a fresh energy and unique beauty, whether it’s the vibrant colors of fall, the crisp snow-covered landscapes of winter, or the blossoming flowers and sunshine of spring.
We had the chance to meet Sam and Jae in July for their engagement session in the West Village, and it was such a fun experience getting to know them ahead of their wedding day. Spending that time with them helped us understand their personalities and vision, which made their wedding day even more meaningful for us as we were able to really tell their story.
Right when we arrive at the Garrison we captured drone photo and video before heading up to check in on them getting ready. From the intimate moments during the ceremony to the getting down on the dance floor with family and friends, Sam and Jae’s wedding was filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories. They even had local apple cider donuts for desert before heading outside for some spontaneous night time newlywed pictures!
We’re grateful to have been a part of such an important day, and we’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to work in New York again! Are next upcoming trips include Washington, Maryland, and Rhode Island!

Wow— truly just wow! Myself and my husband were just continuously floored at how wonder Aja was. From the beginning process when we didn’t know which services we wanted. She was so gracious with her time to help answer all questions and go into detail on everything. I felt safe, confident, comfortable, and relax with this beginning process we knew she was the wedding photographer we needed! Leading up to the wedding she had conversations with our wedding planner, detailed the timeline out for photos, and made sure her and her team were set up for success! Come the day of - they were READY!! Never dropped a beat! Their kind & soothing presence was exactly what I needed and my more shy husband needed to feel comfortable in from of the camera. I couldn’t just thank her enough.
Looking at our sneak peak there were immediate tears. I didn’t realize how beautiful the details of the day where until looking back at the photos. We felt so confident in Aja and her team that we knew we could fully be in the moment on the day of and it’s would be ok if there were certain things we missed because they were going to capture it all! The photos are TRULY amazing and timeless. I know we will be able to look back on them in 60 years and still feel the excitement and joy because it was captured so authentically! We are still getting such amazing feedback from friends and family about your team and how beautiful the photos are!
