Mattea and Keaton’s Ethereal Gardens wedding was such a special one for us. Mattea was the third sister in her family whose wedding we’ve had the honor of capturing, and being part of each of their days has been such a cool full-circle experience.
Their late-summer wedding at Ethereal Gardens in North County San Diego was filled with all the good stuff — warm light, happy tears, and that easy, laid-back energy that makes Southern California weddings so fun.
Before the ceremony, they shared a first touch in the chapel, where they took a quiet moment to pray together. It was simple and genuine — just them, grounding the day in what mattered most. As Mattea walked down the aisle, Keaton teared up.
We captured it all — the emotion, the portraits, the in-between moments, and the party that went late into the night — through both photo and video.

We're so glad we found Aja and her team to shoot our engagement and wedding! They were super nice and flexible with our schedules despite how busy they were. I'm thankful they gave us poses and prompts to help us loosen up, because my wife and I are a super awkward couple haha. The photos were amazing and we really loved the way they edited them! They also delivered the photos in a timely manner and we could not be happier with the photos. We look back at them and relive the day of our wedding!
