Mt. Woodson Castle Wedding

Mt. Woodson Castle is one of San Diego's hidden gems and was the perfect venue for Lauren and Tristan. I loved being a part of their wedding day and their families are amazing! Lauren just became a laywer around this time and her mom was helping her with a lot of the planning so we did a lot of communicating with each other! We created a seamless timeline together that complimented everything they wanted captured! Mt. Woodson Castle, also known as the Amy Strong Castle, is a historic landmark located in Ramona, California, USA. Built-in 1921 by the San Diego heiress Amy Strong, the castle is an enchanting blend of architectural styles, featuring elements of Spanish, Moorish, and Gothic revival influences. The venue is attached to a golf course and originally was intended as a private residence. Lauren and her whole family got ready at her parents house before heading over to the venue to slip into her dress. The girls did hair and make up and we captured photo and video of them popping a bottle in their adorable pajamas! At the venue we did a first look with dad before Lauren and Tristan did a first touch and prayed together before walking down the aisle.  It was such a sweet moment and they both shed a few tears.  The Mt. Woodson Castle promises to be a truly magical affair. The castle's rustic setting, nestled among the scenic hills of Ramona, provides a romantic backdrop for exchanging vows and celebrating love. The glow of the sun backlit the Ceremony beautifully as they said their "I do's".  The castle's historic charm, combined with its character, set the stage for a memorable evening of dining and dancing during Lauren and Tristans Reception.
